Gearbox Settings/ Sequential - H-Pattern

Anyone else missing the option to set the gearbox to Manual Sequential AND H-Pattern with clutch at the same time, just as you could in Dirt Rally?!
Sort of annoying having to go to the options menu every time I change from a sequential car to a car with h-pattern...

Yeah it desperately needs to be put into the game. The RS Cosworth, which I utterly adore, can't really be used with the G27 shifter as it has 7 gears to the shifter's 6, which ♥♥♥♥♥ me over completely (especially since I don't like the way the Integrale handles).

this is in the game, under the options ...
I could change it from sequential, to h pattern and clutch, just look through the options properly, its there :-)

I just looked to make sure i wasnt seeing things, and its def there.
you need to look in the game preferences, then difficulty settings, then scroll down to driving assists, and its under transmission.

If you're talking about each option individually being there, that's terrible. You shouldn't need to change it every time you want to drive something different.

The OP is talking about how DR would automatically switch you to the paddles for sequential cars, and keep the H-shifter for shifter cars, ie a combined setting. This is not in D4, which is a big problem.

Sadly not. I know the option can be changed, but the point is that in DR you didn't have to as there was an option that combined both.

Big nuisance. I have a Fanatec shifter that allows simple switching between seql and H-pattern but not it doesn't wok in the gam: only lets me use one or the other. Not very good and hope it gets fixed soon.
