Customisable instrument pannel

I thought it would be a really good addition to have the instruments swappable and movable similar to the batteries (slotting into a panel) and add instrument failures

I think this could really work well, with the customisation allowing people to set up their cockpits how they like it, and add a layer of strategy as if instruments can fail, do you get 2 artificial horizons in case one fails, or do you get the vertical speed indicator

it could also lock instruments behind certain places / flights for progression

From what I have seen it is possible in real life (although it is a pain) and I think it could make a good addition.

Yes, If we could get like garmin glass panels that you would be able to get with progression... would be great

Those are nice but I am not a fan of the vertical speed indicator bars on those panels (actually hate them worse in helicopters because I fly rotary wing most). I like the VSI gauge a lot better. That said they are a positive addition to the sim if added for options.

True, this game having options would set it aside from other vehicle maintenance/job games immensely. Considering it already feels like a mix of derail valley, my summer/winter car, and sailwind, having similar extra options or styles of devices would be super cool. Maybe when its possible to own more than one plane itll hold a purpose more than preference
