Aircraft Ideas
Feel free to add your aircraft ideas into here

Only one that i have that i honestly, GENUINELY wanna see in alot more games, and figuring that this game is based around seaplane's

The Martin P6M Seamaster, converted to have powerplants that fit the world lore. And yknow, converted into a civil aircraft with an interior for taking cargo and such instead of being what it unfortunately got labeled as, a minelayer

Its an awesome bird, not many know of it, and would hope at some point in the future, an aircraft is based off of it :>

PBY catalina as a possible other body for the Hydrogen engines, fits aswell with that one company making Catalina 2s
The Seamaster would be excellent! (though it might be a bit big...)

I'd love to see a derivative of the Sea Duck from TaleSpin; it feels perfect for the scale and setting as an upgrade to the Goose.

It may be big, sure, but heres where she can come into play, either airdropping cargo, or long hauls that may be out of range of the goose (and single engine coming later)

and cause by the aviation gods if it ever gets added this would be a 10 out of 10 game to me and would be playing it over other games i have
I would like to see a Noordyun norseman or a DeHaviland Otter, keeping with the retro theme for the single engine option. modern planes just don't have the sound or character.
can we have twin tail booms, with the option to paint it yellow? without crossing too much into the house of mouse

first thing I thought of when I saw this
Id vote for the PBY-5A Catalina XP
I vote for the Martin JRM Mars lol. The creator should be familiar with it as I believe they live in the province they were based out of while in water bomber format.
for the single engine plane i think an icon would be really interesting or a seabee

icons are ugly and way too new (hated it in msfs, horrible interior) and the seabee is offly small for cargo delivery.

I have an Airfix model of that in 1/48 scale which I still need to build. I have a lewis gun upgrade and interior for it. Need to get the wire rigging set for it. cool plane indeed. Aside from capital ship recon it was also used for SAR during and post war for a time.

Cool thing about it is they had both a full seaplane version and also an amphibious with retractable wheels.

My dad served in the RN during ww2 on a QE class BB. They had Walruses for artillery spotting but they could also be used for ASW (being able to carry 2 depth charges) and they were used to carry mail to a from the ship when at sea :)

Just like helicopters do now but a lot less classy. Salutes to your dad. My dad was a Radioman in the navy in the korea era and then was an RTO in the army but he was shore based while in the Navy in the US.
