Known Issues with Graphics Corruption/Garbled Sprites

Hi Everyone,

People are reporting issues with corrupted graphics/garbled sprites. In general, this is due to out of date OpenGL drivers. This could be caused by an old OS (such as Windows Vista) or an old video card (such as graphics cards that utilize the Intel series 4 chipset). Our engine makes use of features in OpenGL 3.0 and above, and older OSs and hardware do not support OpenGL 3.0 or higher.

We are aware of the issue and are contemplating a DirectX implementation to allow the game to be playable on systems for which this is a problem. No timetable yet on when this will occur, but wanted to make sure everyone knows we are aware of the issue.

If you have up-to-date hardware drivers and are still having this issue, there isn't much we are able to do at this time. We will make an announcement in the future concerning a DirectX implementation. Thank you for your interest and support.
