What does the HD mean, what is different?
You can now play the game as a regular standalone PC game. No browser, no game-portals, no advertising, just you and the game. The game has been fully reprogrammed in a new game-engine. This allows for higher resolutions, higher framerates, sharper shadows, better image effects etc. We've used the orginal art and audio in its highest quality. No art is 'redone' or 'recreated from scratch'.


Does the game have new features or content compared to the webgame?
No, although there might be some secrets in there!


Can I play the game with a controller?
At this moment a (regular) controller is only supported during races, not in the menus. As you can imagine, especially the equipping of weapons was designed to work with mouse input, so it would require significant work to make this compatible with a controller. Maybe in a future update we can add this.

What are the controller buttons to use?
A Button = Fire Primary
B Button = Fire Secondary
Y Button = Fire Special Attack (if equipped)
Right Trigger = Accelerate/Forward
Left Trigger = Decelerate/Backward
Left and Right Shoulder Button = Drift
D-Pad = CycleTeammembers (during Team VS Game Mode)
R-Stick Button = Reverse Camera

Hi all! As you can see, the price is still unknown. I'm guessing it will be around $10,00 but it could go to 7 or to 15. We're still thinking about creating a seperate OST that you can buy. ;) Itwould be cool, and the music is indeed great!

Also, will there be the option to start a "new game" like in BR3 and BR4? I like progression and starting a game over, and having completed the game made me stop playing for a while.

@coolkopf I think the game will probably have an opstion to 'Reset Progress' or something. But nothing fancy likes profiles.
@predamonk I think the music from the BR series (and most Xform Games) is among the best gaming music around.
@Ugandan I'm hoping we can keep the price low but still make enough money. Getting the price just right is pretty hard through :(

The best way to see that is to compare both trailers. FYI, the original BR5 was released in 2013. And of course was inspired by the legandary BR3 and 4 way before that. ;)
