Solstice 'Script interpreter 7 line 279'
I've had this bug before and it somehow resolved itself, but it came back and looks like it's here to stay unless it can be properly resolved. When I have to complete a task in the game which I assume requires a file to be downloaded, I get a pop-up:
Script 'Interpreter 7' line 279: Errno::EPERM occurred
Operation not permitted @ rb_sysopen - /Users/name/Documents/ONESHOT_password1.png
and as soon as I close the pop-up, the game becomes unresponsive and I have to force quit the window. I tried uninstalling/reinstalling the game and removing my antivirus but neither have worked. I'm currently running the game on macOS Monterey version 12.3.1

Just ran into this same problem myself now. To fix it do the following: 1 - If Oneshot is already opened and crashed go to "Force Quit" (can find this under the apple logo menu in the top left) and kill it. 2 - Open a Finder window and navigate to your Documents folder (e.g. for a user called jimmy it would be Macintosh HD/Users/jimmy/Documents/). 3 - Delete or move the 4 files with names like ONESHOT_passwordX.png. 4 - Ro-open Oneshot from Steam and go to the place the bug was encountered. 5 - Check back in the documents folder and the files you moved/deleted should re-appear. Hope this helps!

Looks like the game is trying to write/copy files to your Documents directory but it doesn't have permission to do so.

Now, as I don't play on Mac, I can't really help on getting around that, but the file(s) in question are found in the game's directory. It's not really a solution, but it's just a problem with Mac or something.

Though, that doesn't explain too much now that I think about it, since earlier in a playthrough, one would need to open DOCUMENT.oneshot from the same folder... Hm.. odd now that I think on it.

Yeah it was strange and frustrating - thanks for taking the time to reply though!
