Script error?
Well was trying to reset my game and I sure did mess up the files and stuff and I have this error that says this when I open the game....
" Script 'Persistent' line 65: TypeError occured.
incompatible marshal file format (can't be read)
format version 4.8 required; 0.0 given"

Any help?

This means that the game's persistent data was corrupted during a write (the file is likely just blank). Here's how you can fix it:

1) Turn off steam cloud sync (this is IMPORTANT since the following steps will not work otherwise)
2) Navigate to your oneshot folder in your AppData (filepath should look something like "C:\Users\GIR\AppData\Roaming\Oneshot" but replace GIR with your PC account name)
[Note: AppData is a hidden folder, so you may need to enable viewing hidden folders to access this directory if you want to navigate to it through file explorer]
3) Delete "persistent.dat"
4) Launch the game
5) Save the game at some point
6) Turn steam cloud sync back on

Note: Instead of following the path in step 2, you can type
%APPDATA%/Oneshot
into the address bar of Windows explorer (press Win+E) or "Run" window (press Win+R) and it will get you there

What folder are you looking for the save files in?

Below are instructions for how to find the folder containing the save file folder (and how to delete them). persistent.dat will be in the same location as the save.dat file.

I WANT TO ERASE MY SAVE

If for whatever reason you want to erase your progress in the game entirely, either due to skipping the dialogue that allows you to change your name, or if the game is crashing when trying to load a corrupted save, or for some other reason, here is how you can do so.

3) Delete save.dat and p-settings.dat
4) Delete the save_backups folder
5) Launch the game
6) Save the game at some point
7) Turn steam cloud sync back on
