Will World Machine Edition come to PC?
Saw the WME of Oneshot in the direct a while ago, am wondering if us PC players will get it as well? Seems to be a lot more content than PC edition. Maybe adding the new additions without the "virtual computer" part of it?

I had the same idea since today. They would remove the world machine part (from wme) and the related stuff in the game (like getting friends and wallpapers), and call it "OneShot Remastered".

Plans could change, but straight from GIR, there are no plans to bring any of the new content to the PC version of the game. (can't say for sure why, but considering the PC version is published by Komodo, and the console version is published by Dangen, that could be a reason for it, similar to how Hyper Light Drifter's Switch and mobile version had content that was never brought to other versions of the game due to it being published from a different company)

Edit: Actually he does go into that it is also based on an entirely new engine (which knew about that for a hot minute too) being another reason, similar to how DDLC and DDLC+ was 2 different versions of games too.

Either way, not exactly expecting a port to be made for PC unless it is fan made (and even then not sure how that would work legal-wise without permission)

OKAY BUT IF THEY DO EVER BRING ANYTHING FROM ONESHOT: WORLD MACHINE EDITION TO THE PC PORT! THEY HAVE TO BRING THAT FAST TRAVEL MAP! IT'S THE BEST THING WORLD MACHINE EDITION HAS THAT THE STEAM EDITION DOESN'T HAVE!

For Steam Deck, a PC port of the WME would be good.

Yeah it would be so good if we had World Machine Edition avaible on PC. It'd be something like DDLC+ :torielsad:

imo i think that just the qol changes that were added in wme (diagonal movement and better fast travel) are good enough for the steam version

If it's not a new story, I won't spend money.
