stuck after library. spoiler warning. need help

okay so I've got my library card and talked to the head librarian, read all the books i could up there. not any real guidance

I can't leave refuge to go to glen and get the tube of water I missed.

I went to the red x room and tried xing out the game and reloading but nothing happened to my desktop or in game.

I saw the ram wall in the alley way but I don't think I can do anything with that.

help pls...

Unfortunately, you can't go back to the Glen (but you can in a later time).

You can't interact with the 'X' room yet, you must sleep at the room where the head librarian at.

Also about the ram wall, you need to equip the ram shirt first where you can get from the trader in Glen.

Whenever I try sleeping there it tells me I'm not ready to sleep yet :/

Give the journal book to the head librarian.
