Stuck in the dark room with the computer that changes your desktop to a bulb

the computer asked me if i knew what it was talking about so i said no to see what would happen, it called me stupid then the dialogue box went away. when i check it it just says that the effect is temporary and will go away when i dont need it

the room is still dark and i cant progress? is this a bug or what do i need to do lmao

im not sure if this is in the red X room ive seen people talking about on the other discussion threads but i think im in like a sub part of the ruins or something

Okay. Give the Sun to the vine dame at the end of the Ruins if you haven't, then enter the rooms that were blocked by vines. Copy the pattern onto the tile puzzle a voila, you've progressed.

Red X Room comes near the end-game, so don't worry for a while.

thing is, even when i exit this room everything is dark i cant see where im going, is there a way to "let there be light"?

I'm having the same problem too. I can't see where I am going after my wallpaper was changed.

The pattern on the wallpaper is interesting, is it not? Not that it is a lightbulb, but in how it is drawn.. perhaps there is somewhere that needs to mimic this?
