By not having a sufficent IQ to complete a puzzle, really.
Closing the game in the Steam version via the X button DOES NOT kill Niko. It simply saves your progress on the spot, unless the game is hinting for you to exit.
Im guessing that this isn't the original version of the game then by how you said that. And very useful advice, thanks.
One more thing. Im well past the first house where the computer sends you (specifcally you) a message that you only have one shot and read some stuff saying how this game can ♥♥♥♥ you up. Does this game do anything to your PC? I've heard of some games doing that, however not any that would be approved for steam. Just being safe
To be frank: Yes, the game makes changes to your PC such as creating files and making subtle changes to your machine. However, I can assure you that it is not malicious in the sense that it goes and deletes essential program files, and the changes can be deleted or overwritten.
Ah thank you. I came across a deep web horror story about a game that legit put some illegal stuff on your CPU and gave it viruses. So long as said changes don't ♥♥♥♥ up your computer beyond a quick game crash a la Omega Flowey, I welcome such a bold move with open arms
