Room with Red X

I've talked to the librarian, I have the die, I just have 0 idea where to go next. I tried going into the red x room and nothing happened. I clicked all the edges, I held the sun, die, amber, and feather. Nothing. I think I'm missing something... The librarian said that I had to go to "the small room at the base of the tower" where exactly IS that? Have I just not found it yet? Is that not the red x room?

Ok, that is the correct room. Look for something that looks like the red X.

To add on to what Psyker said, it may not look red won some computers. (There's a hint for you)

You do need to be at the red X tower. If you never payed attention to the book you were gave, you need to restart the game in that room.

I personally managed to do that, but after closing and reopening it, I ended up in that dark room with the computer and the bed. Did I screw up my playthrough by making Niko sleep?

have you tried looking at your desktop when you opened the game up again?

I had a similar problem. I couldn't find the files for the game for some reason. Go to your library, right click OneShot, click properties, local files, and browse files. There should be a file with a three leaf clover. Click on it. After that, launch the game :)

What 'e said. Go inta' ya' Documents (C:/Documents, normally) n' click on the three-leaf clova' .exe file titled "____".
Open OneShot an' countinue from there as ya' see fit.

Wait, nevermind. Scratch that. Go into My Games from Documents, then into OneShot and click the sod.

I'm stuck at the same spot, I tried closing the window and reopening OneShot but literally nothing happened. What should happen? Does it just not have any feedback?

i don't really get what to do. entering the X room, opening the clover .exe file, and then restarting the game doesn't do anything for me. it just reopens at the same room.

Actually for the red X room, your supposed to close the game using the X button hence why it’s a red X room to tell you to close the game, not restart it, also from what I know your not supposed to open the clover app yet at that moment.

The order to go to the red room and get past it is…

Go to the library,
get the library card,
give the book to the librarian,
go to sleep in the bed next to the room you gave the book,
talk to the librarian after sleeping,
then go to the tower where there’s a room with the red X,
close the app using the red X button,
open the game back up
