Stuck in barrens with bottle

I have a bottle of water that I can't seem to do anything with. I think I have all that I need from the factory, but know I'm missing something. Should I be looking for a second bottle, or do I do mroe stuff with the bottle of water?

Haven't been able to get into the mines. Is that something I should try now or is it locked until later?

I don't think you can ever get into the mines as far as I know. Either way though, what you want to do is fill the bottle with gas and then get a syringe, fill it with liquid from a big, glowing blob and inject the syringe into the bottle.

I filled the empt bottle with the syringe. Now I can't get gas into it. Is the game stuck?

Even though you have the pond water in the bottle, if you use the bottle on the vent hole that Niko can reach, it will just dump out the water and fill it with gas instead, allowing you to fill it up with water again.

I believe I did what Cloydes did. Fill the bottle with gas first, and separately fill the syringe with the liquid from the big, glowing blob. Then when you have those separate items, combine them. Make sure you have the gloves too! ^^

Ah, didn't realize there was a specific vent I was suppose to find. I was tryng at all the normal ones. Thought I explorered everywhere already, but obviously not.

The vent is in shrimp swamp (Travel command). Go toward top and left.

By the way, Where should I use a wet sponge maked by the operation mentioned above?
Is there anyone who knows about that..

Use the wet sponge on the Rowbot! It's an acidic solution that you can use to de-rust them :)

Where is the sponge? I figured the rest out, but I couldnt find the sponge.

I can't remember exactly, but I think it was one of the factories? You have to use the crowbar to take down the wooden planks blocking the door.
