Niko's gender

Is Niko male or female? I want to see how the fandom is, before I buy the game... This will also make me strictly refer to Niko as whatever gender overrules the other!

The game uses they/them. I have a habit of saying "she" because that's how I refer to cats, but they're a kitten baby child and very precious, that's what they are.

I wouldn't be too sure. They've never mentioned Niko's gender other than being "cat"

I only had a single male cat in my family, so I refer to cats as "Cats"

I see Niko as a boy when playing, it makes it feel relatable for me, plus they're got that determination, that unshakable optimism, bravery and willingness to be a hero and finish the adventure. At the same time, a young girl has the more outwardly logical side going (the saftely violation! or the "I don't think we should do this because it's not right" comments), plus girls have more vivid dreams too, so a girl does make a lot of sense
