How am I supposed to replay this?

I recently got this game and played through it. thought it was pretty good but a bit overrated. Then I was told that it requires more playthroughs. upon starting it to see that something was different I was super exited. I got to a part where I was warned of a bed restarting the game, and I got to another part where I talked to a fox who said I wasn't ready yet. I ended up finishing the game and trying the other ending. I deleted the save file figuring that everything would be different if I tried again however, now I'm back to where I was the second time and it is very monotonous and boring playing through the game three times now. It's like playing the endless eight if anyone gets that reference. Am I doing something wrong?

Normally when you use the bed who restart the game you should start with the book instead of finding it in the Chest in the barrens if yes then you can start the solstice part in the cave where you find the lens to do so go to the right of the cave where the rail for the minecart continue and the character should say there is something to do
