OneShot: Can't find the code document?

I browsed my local files, took at look at Documents > My Games (game doesn't even appear there) and went ahead and looked over at my OneDrive, but I literally cannot find the document.oneshot

Help.

the file should be in your main documents folder (C:Users/*Userame*/Documents)

It isn't. There's no OneShot documents at all aside from the local game files.

the computer should tell you to look for the file. before it does, the file won't appear

I have recently gotten the broken camera, and just got introduced to the cave. I think I'm supposed to power the generator in the outpost, but I need a lens which I can't find.

Nevermind. I used the screwdriver with the camera, powered up the battery 'n' stuff. Yada yada yada, I have the code.

..This game is eerily creepy though with the fourth wallbreak and clever clues.

I'm having the same issue. The computer has told me to search my own for the file, but the file does not apper in my documents folder.

What specifically is the computer telling you to do?

Alright, to clear this up (hopefully). The game generates a new code each playthrough. If you have not booted up the computer in the Barrens yet, then a new code has not been generated yet. The file is under the general Documents and is named Document.oneshot. I hope that answers your question.

If the document does not appear, then try going to the view tab in File Explorer and checking the box for Hidden Items. If the file still does not appear, then I'm not sure what to do...

I got the same issue.
I had repaired the computer and got the tip from it. It want me to find a document in my computer.
I checked every users' Documents folders in C:\Users but there's no file named document.oneshot.
My game name and the user name in my computer is not the same. Could this be the main reason?
HELP...

Seems like it could be a mistake on the game’s part. Is your name in game the same as another profile on your computer? If so, Oneshot probably placed the folder under that profile
