The three leaf clover meaning?

So i wandered a lot into the internet, but i didn't find any good explanations (mostly irish or religious meanings) the closest one is The Clubs♣ Suit that can be related to summer, still i don't think this is the right explanation. Any ideas?

From what I know, the Clover's are representations of the three main areas when the clovers are held up to sunlight (though you can't see that of course, as the sun is destroyed and the one you're holding isn't yet positioned to act as the sun).
Look into the Graphics/Pictures folder on OneShot and there should be a book on the clovers pigmentation.

The clovers' purpose in the narrative is to establish the Author's influence on the world. Because we see the symbol so often, both in his work and in the natural world, it begins to have meaningful power. I'm not sure there's intended to be a huge amount of relation to real-world symbolism and culture.
