Actually, People, It has been confirmed that Niko either doesn't have a gender.. Or is genderfluid.. Or something. Apparently Nightmargin and someone else confirmed this, I can't remember where- Sorry for the lack of information, but hey, I have Pancakes to make up for it!

One of the devs said Niko doesn't have a gender, another one said Niko's gender isn't revealed, can't remember which said which.

What's true, though, is that Niko's gender is unspecified in ordero to make the player more bonded with him/her for extra feels. uwu

If you can't bond with someone because they're not your preferred gender, that just makes you sexist.

That's not it, it's just easier for people to do that even though they don't realise it. It's the same as the trick used in Undertale.

Except that the Undertale fandom is really strict about this when it comes to what genders Frisk or Chara is. They get triggered cause they can't take other people opinions and they'll mess you up.
