Screen resolution making game unplayable
I have run into the problem that no matter what setting I select, the entire window does not fit onto my screen. Even on the size that fits the best, I can only scroll in 2 directions due to the edge of the game falling well outside the edge of the screen.

Due to circumstances I have my computer connected to a TV instead of a regular monitor, so have encountered this problem with other games, but have always found a workaround. I have not yet found a way to get this one to work, and was wondering if anyone had ideas that I could try.

You can set your own resolution by copying and renaming game executables - browse to game local data folder, have a look at the exe files and you'll see how it works. Tinker with resolutions till you find something that works

Here's how I fixed mine:

https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_8-gaming/fix-game-resolution-when-its-so-big-to-fit-on-the/b184416d-0e9b-4ccd-850d-a0ab4da5d85e?auth=1

1. Right-Clicking the game icon
2. Clicking Troubleshoot Compatibility
3. Clicking on Troubleshoot Program
4. Clicking "The program opens, but does not display correctly."
5. Clicking "Program does not display properly when large scale font settings are selected.
6. Test Program

Run the game to see if you can play. Then quit. Press save compatibility settings. Done.

Enjoy.

This method can serve as a temporary fix until an official patch addressing this issue is released.

Thanks, that made the game playable.

This worked for me as well. This should be stickied, as seems enough people would have this problem & seems a pretty solid fix, for this issue.

This problm is related to High DPI screen. Your temporary fix make the screen too small to play on those screen :(. I hope that there is a patch for those screen

Unfortunately the fix mentioned here doesn't work for me, I just get an error with those weird text characters when the game tries to start up for a test.
