Yeap, I played the heck out of those titles. This looks great.
I love the GNB series, even though the first title by Microprose (not SSI) received averege -at-best reviews on release, and knowing that "Fighting Steel" bombed on release (really, an average score of 50% from off reviewers at that time) I have longed for a game to fill their shoes, even a TBS. Treid verey hard to enjoy "Victory At Sea" and did initially, but after many changes it is now a grindfest to collect enough points to form a fleet that might at least survive longer than a few sorties.
"... One of the best, if not the best naval sim ever, sort of a reborn GNBNA after 25 yrs from my point of view!"
"Greatest WWII Battleship Naval game since GNBNA."
"I love this game. A recreation of GNBNA like another poster said except that this is WAY better."
This was for the mobile version... the PC enhanced version has had a full makeover with PC quality graphics, redesigned user interface and mouse keyboard support. The core game play remains the same though.
Great, thanks for the post and link!
Just thought I'd ask....
