I wish to see some fighting steel remake but this turnbased title can also quinch my thirst for some singleplayer tactical naval batles.

Yeap, I played the heck out of those titles. This looks great.

GNB was a realtime naval simulation. Atlantic Fleet is turn-based naval wargame. It shows that turn-based doesn't necessarily mean poor graphics.

I'm all over this one. Looks fantastic, and I trust it will play as well as it looks in the video.

The Android/iOs version is already out. Saying that it is the best app I've ever played doesn't really do it justice because all mobile games suck.

Yeah, kinda why I avoided it on Googleplay. But, as some of the best PC games I've played in the last 12 months (and some of the worst over the past 24 months) are mobiler ports 'jazzed-up' for the PC I will be following this closesly.
I love the GNB series, even though the first title by Microprose (not SSI) received averege -at-best reviews on release, and knowing that "Fighting Steel" bombed on release (really, an average score of 50% from off reviewers at that time) I have longed for a game to fill their shoes, even a TBS. Treid verey hard to enjoy "Victory At Sea" and did initially, but after many changes it is now a grindfest to collect enough points to form a fleet that might at least survive longer than a few sorties.

Atlantic Fleet gets compared to the GNB series a lot. Here's some player comments from the Subsim[www.subsim.com] community:

"... One of the best, if not the best naval sim ever, sort of a reborn GNBNA after 25 yrs from my point of view!"

"Greatest WWII Battleship Naval game since GNBNA."

"I love this game. A recreation of GNBNA like another poster said except that this is WAY better."

This was for the mobile version... the PC enhanced version has had a full makeover with PC quality graphics, redesigned user interface and mouse keyboard support. The core game play remains the same though.

Any word, while we're at it on a release for the prequel "Pacific Fleet"? Hopefully it might be a DLC/Expansion rather than a full, seperately priced game.

Not sure we'll get back to the prequel Pacific Fleet, we just have too many other games we want to build.
