The game might be falling apart?

RN campaign. Game's falling apart.

After a while of playing (Usually ~mid 1940, sometimes it starts to really break earlier) numerous glitches take place - The gunnery overlay staying when it moves to the next ship and is supposed to transfer to the movement overlay, getting in the way of both movement and gunnery, ships disappearing from the map (You can still click on them and it'll show you they are there, but they do absolutely nothing - they can't be interacted with, nothing - just the names are there if you click on them.)

I tried loading my RN game one time and it totally failed to load and was too unstable anyway. I had to start a totally new campaign to play, and each campaign I start, the bugs seem to come earlier and earlier in the game.

When they first showed up, I was in my KM campaign, but they were rare. I managed to finish the game after destroying enough convoys by early 1941 or late 1940, and then started my RN campaign. The issues became common enough (One or two near every battle) that it was getting real annoying, and eventually ships went missing and the game refused to load the save (Or crashed everytime a battle started - One of the two.)

I made a new savefile, issues persisted but started very early. I verified the game cache, uninstalled and reinstalled - Is the game just falling apart? I love this game, and would hate for it to fall into the realm of 'unplayable.'

Never had that. I suspect it's your machine. Particularly as it persists after restarting the campaign and happens earlier each time. That sounds like it's your PC running out of resources.

I've not had any of those issues on a Win 7 8Gb installation.
What I HAVE had is a screen error where map overlay in BoA vanishes, leaving ship locations (or transports or sea area text).

A simple exit/save and restart has worked OK so far

game crashed for me the first day i played it, and once more after that, and that was it, i never played it again. i reinstalled it and hope for the best, but it's pretty obvious by now that the game is just buggy and crashy and does not play well.

Have you tried unclicking shadows in the options menu as well as the little start up window. That stopped it from crashing for me. There was a massive shader update last August and for some reason this game didn't get patched through steam. Many obsolete 12+ years games got updated by steam, this one did not.
