Does anybody know on how to re supply your ships or subs?

When in the map screen, go to the bottom left and find the various icons. There should be one that looks like a docking crane. Hit it and it will bring up all of your zones that have ports, as well as your enemy's. Switch back to the 'Fleet Mode' and move your damaged ships, preferably with escort, to one of those zones. When you reach it, select the zone, hit the crane at the bottom, and it should come up with a two-sided screen.

From there, simply select the ships you want to repair or rearm until they're highlighted yellow, then hit the wrench at the bottom. They'll move over to the other side of the screen and have a number alongside them; this shows how many turns (disregarding air raids) that it will take to repair and rearm the ship.

Note: When playing as the Germans, there are I believe two such icons in the middle of the ocean. These signify resupply ships. Docking with these will only resupply, not repair.

If the vessel is undamaged, put it into "repair" dock anyway (in any hex with a friendly Shipyard) and it will resupply in just one turn.

so would it be best to put all my subs near the ships to get an re supply of Fish when waiting for the next convoy ships to come?

What I do is, after each sub or warship is involved in an engagement and expends torpedoes or significant ammunition, I sent that vessel to the nearest shipyard port. But I swap it with vessels moving the other way. So it moves to the port in a series of swaps where two vessels swap locations with each other. That way I maintain all my patrol areas at full strength or nearly so.

So no there is no reason to move all your subs or ships toward the shipyards.
