Just tried the beta game today, and I'd say it still need a lot of works if this is the recent build of the game, tried one level with 5/15 nests destroyed, still not touch the tech tree yet, here you go
-FPS Drops at certain places (or probably my potato machine), I can get about average 16 FPS with low settings, but it can go as low as 8 when going into some places
-When you're nearby at the nest and having an enemy around at the same time, your melee attacks will redirected at the nest, even when your intention is to kill the enemy around it. And I wonder why the melee combat feels so clunky.
-Armor regeneration start indicator, again, sound effects such as something repleneshing can do the work, or blue frame on the screen to make it easier to notice
-Taking damage indicator, like seriously, suddenly I just died to worms without noticing they're attacking me.
-Hitting enemies indicator, with melee weapons, most of the time in a crowded place with enemy, I just slicing everywhere, wondering if it hits or not. A hitmarker could do the trick, as well the "Stab" sound effect, if you do it with guns too, that would be nice.
-Low ammo notification (optional), at the very least, make the ammo bar flashing or something similar, but I'm fine if you're not changing it.
-Basically, more sound effects at enemies attacking, we hitting stuff, and stuff that mentioned above.
-I noticed changing graphical settings will not apply it instantly, so probably reinitializing the game or a "Game needs to be restarted" warning is great.
-Make ragdolls of dead enemies to be non-collideable, there's this condition where I was being swarmed with enemies and I dashed to get away from there, but I just hit a worm's ragdoll body so I'm pretty much screwed.
-(optional) Run feature addition? I mean dash is nice and all, but hence the large level with spreaded objectives, dashing the whole place is a bit weird, I'm not saying to remove dash by the way.
-The drone skills, since it's not removing any created drones from the level, would spamming them create a laggy scene? You might want to take a look into that.
And here's my spec should you need it, it's a laptop by the way
-Intel i5-3337U @1.80GHz
-Nvidia GT 720M
-4GBs RAM
-Windows 10 Pro x64
Whew, that turned out to be quite a wall of text, this game may needs a lots of work to put into, but it has potential in my opinion, best wishes and good luck for the developers on developing The Admin! Will wait for future updates
I will try to implement some of your inputs about the game.
Of course you can post screenshots.
likely because the game ain't out yet, but for some reason, idlemaster is trying to idle it
1. The drone(s) do(es)n't follow you through doors, it's as if they require a certain distance from the player to start to follow, but by taking enough distance the door automatically closes, leaving them behind. You could expand the radius for the "door activation".
2. Can we summon as many drones as we'd like? I didn't have too much time to play so much but I've summoned 4 drones in total (2 were stuck at the door, the other 2 kept company until I quit).
3. There could be a cooldown display for the skills, the way it is now we have to keep trying the skill to see if it usable.
4. On first mission there's this valley with an "invisible wall" at the end, but you can pass through the rocks on the right side and trespass the insible wall, here are some screenshots:
Invisible wall trespassed
End of line reached
Geronimo
I regret nothing
2. Maximum number of drones are 4
3. Good Idea
4. noted
Thank you for your feedbacks
