Very bad performance on high end PC
I really like this game and have no intent to refund it but I have had a problem since I first played. Even on lowest settings my game is running at 30 - 40 fps with a gtx 1060 and an i5 6500 with all latest drivers. I have spoken to tyler and understand the problem and am just wondering has anyone found a fix? I have tried exclusive fullscreen, d3d9, d3d12, lowing all gfx, setting my gpu to high performance mode and everything. Please if anyone has a solution tell me :steamhappy:
edit:
One time I opened the game and got 70 - 90 fps. I restarted and went down to 30 - 40

"high end PC"

doesn't list full specs.

I have a GTX 1050 in my rig (+ very slow DDR3 8GB RAM and a very, very old i5 2300) and i always get +60 fps.
Allready had some sort of lag spikes/frame breaks ingame but that is very rare.
Consider that the game is still an alpha tho.
I have none of my m8s who have way older pc's then the OP stated , running smooth 50-60fps on high ( GF 560/760/1060 , combined with either old intel or amd cpu's they all run it well)
My point being, its likely its software on yourside.

I'm running 70(heavy weather effects) - 130 (clear weather) fps with
I7 -2600k
8gb ddr3
1070 8gb
120gb ssd gen2

Sorry,
GTX 1060 MSI Gaming X 6G
H170M
8 Gigs of DDR3 Corsair LPX
i5 6500k
500w evga bronze
Thats all you need to know.
I gave that because the rest of my specs except the ram are relativly unimportant

Jordan, can you do me a favour and check your output_log.txt in your Blackwake data folder and at the top it should say which GPU is being used. Does it say your GPU? or intergrated.

Go into nvidia control panel change
threaded optimization=off
shader cache=off

and also vsync on ingame.
