But at first you have to learn a bit about it maybe on youtube or something
For the basics u know?
After that this game can be funny with the right crew and the right captain =)
So far ull find a server to play on 24/7.
IF u need to play on a different continent a 200 ping doenst stops it from running smoothly.
It takes not long to learn the game mechanics and once youve got it youll have some great fun ;)
....But they cant do this so i will wait and play BlackWake
Gotta love the motivation you guys have for this. I appreciate this a lot, thank you.
They're at the edges of their seat trying to push out patches, it's admirable but when the game plays like a 2 man modding team, in the end it's a waste. Not worth the buy, and I wouldn't be surprised if I got banned for my honest assessment, they wouldn't want the truth when they're already under a lot of stress.
1. It's buggy which is hence why it's labled as EARLY ACCESS. Bugs will get weened out by release.
2. Actually we paid voice actors so you're just telling fibs now. I think you may be lacking in a sense of humor since it was inspired by Chivalry and Monty Python. The game isn't meant to be serious.
3. Considering it's our first game and that we had a very small budget to work with, I think we've done pretty damn good. Sure it's rough around the edges, but compared to a lot of early access indie bloat out there on Steam for similar pricing Blackwake's sitting at 90% positive with 6k reviews.
4. Why would we feel threatened by Sea of Thieves? We've made our money and now we can keep working on the game and finish it without the stress of income. So that's the polar opposite.
I'm sure a lot of people will like SoT but considering it's Windows 10 only and not coming to Steam (going to microsoft store) that is a bit annoying for some people who want ship battles.
Also the game is in a completely different genre. Just because it's pirates doesn't make it the "blackwake killer". That's like saying the Division would kill Battlefield, shooting guns and people in a city but now you collect loot. SoT You're limited to 5 people per crew and it's a sandbox multiplayer game of up to 30ish people. Blackwake is a round based game focused on Naval battles with up to 54 players with 7 and 13man crews.
I love this Game =)
