Long load times.

The game takes a long time to load the worst part is if I just go back to the main screen it takes just as long to load it all over again.. anyone have probs like this?

Yes, it's normal. The game is deep in alpha; dont expect optimization until much closer to the release.

The game loads everything in one go first boot.. That way new matches are instant to load.It will be optimized in the future. It's not that long compared to battlefield taking 3+ minutes everytime a new match starts.

Also, yes, it takes ages to load the "menu" but the trade-off is an instant server join. Instantaneous? Is more correcterer?

Just a theory but could you not load in the boats, friendly charecter models and a small portion of the sea around the starting area, then while the captain vote is happening load in everything else? Obviously if you are joining in progress, then the models you see initally will be very low poly.

Btw all I said was a bit about policing the community because a few bad people ruin it for everyone. But it wasn't relevant to the OP. I decided it was another topic for another day but yeah... Big troll I am and all tho.
