Looking into purchasing game for a number of friends - easy to get in same game / on same crew with each other?

How cani join in game with my friends as one team? I play with frieands andwe spend a lot of time trying to enter same server and same ship. How can we gathering on one ship as a group?

I think this is not possible at the moment. Its sad because its an awesome game wirh friends. But maybe we will get a pre made group join option during ealry access.

It'd be great if you could add a crew feature then join a server together. With the servers all being so full at the moment, such a feature means barely any crews would get on.

No, it is extremely difficult to get in to a server with a friend, nevermind on the same ship together.

You can all favorite the same server, then just join from your favorites list. As for private servers, I don't think it's currently a thing but I can't imagine the devs not adding it later.

yes it been around for a while now..

in the main game screen, fill out the Party tag. For example you put "abc"
your friends will need to fill out a party tag aswell, putting the same name tag as you.
Then you and your friends need to join the same sever. If you look at the score board your names should all be highlighted the same colour.
When the next round start, you and your friends will all be placed togeather on the same ship.
If i remeber correctly you cant choose what ship it will be.

As mentioned above this feature is now ingame, I'll lock this thread so no one is confused. If you have any issues with the party system absolutely feel free to make another thread.
