ready to buy, in watchlist, watched some reviews and watching an impressions gameplay vid..

.looks like steamcharts says 1500ish ppl are online now,

so everything seems great and game interests me alot, if i get it i plan to play with gamepad so would like if anyone may comment on the partial controller support and if its playable w/ gamepad.

i'll be honest, I was thinking of buying it right now impulsively, but this BS community response (its not the devs i know) is putting the purchase on hold, so

the devs can blame one sale lost to the above user Wibble.

I was seriously going to buy game but coming to the forum and having a troll come at you for asking about controller support (guess that triggered them?), thats just Low and OK well guess that's what they wanted, someone not buying the game when asking about it. way to hurt your own game u claim to support.

I'm keeping it on my watchlist but not buying now since I can wait since it's in early access.

The game does have limited controller support right now. You can rebind controls, but the main menu and escape menu are not supported though. You can do suprisingly well with a controller as many tasks on the ship aren't reliant on perfect aim, though you might get into trouble during boarding.

The game itself should work well with a controller, partial is referring to some of the menus.

I wouldn't honestly let this dude put you off. The game is fantastic and there's some great crews out there. Having a good captain makes a huge difference and we went for many battles without losing our ship.

You are letting him win by responding to him with large 3 paragraph posts. You;ve let him know that he ruffled your feathers, multiple times now.

And not buying the game does not affect him, the developers, nor the game really. It only affects you. This game will not fail just because you decided not to buy the game. This game is very good in its very early stages, and will thrive just fine without your purchase.

With that being said, you really should buy the game. Look at it this way, you are letting someone on the internet dictate your actions. Forget about the reviews or what anyone on the forums says, think for yourself, and make the decision to buy or not to buy the game. If you dont buy the game because you really dont want to then that is fine, but dont not buy it just because random kid on the internet trolled you with a meme.

Its the internet, there are trolls everywhere. Just learn to laugh it off, because most of the ♥♥♥♥ can be pretty funny when you look at it not so seriously. No one is out to get you, if you want the game then just buy it and stop seeking others approval to re-assure your decision.

The game is only 18 dollars and you can refund it if you dont like it. You literally lose nothing by buying this game and trying out.

And like I said earlier, by not buying this game and literally saying out loud in a post to the troll himself that you are not buying the game because of him, definitely means he has won, you let him get to you.

Dont let that happen next time, kid.

Its been a magical journey for us but overall the games pretty good, I've been playing it for a few hours now and for an Alpha its pretty solid. The only outstanding issue I have with it right now is the FPS drops but the devs are looking into it.
