lighthouse part is broken

For the community, how is possible to pass that stupid part?
It's not a puzzle, it's just a random horrible part, without meaning and purpose.
I am really thinking there is something wrong in how this work, I tried several (SEVERAL) times, even with online tutorial but nothing seems work.

I'm at that part now and it's really ridiculous how bad a puzzle it is. Yes, it's some kind of light code that just keeps going into 3 increments, on the broken spotlight pier, and yes it's very flawed.
THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE! This is known problem puzzle for over a year and the dev has done NOTHING to fix it. It adds nothing to the game, most people have to look up the solution online, and then, even knowing it, it's absolutely a pain to implement correctly. I have heard the damn voiceactor yell "CURSES!" over 75 times now, at the final stage of the light code, and it's just unbelievable the dev hasn't rectified this in and otherwise great game!

I completely agree with you. I am truly not satisfied with this game and will not buy other game from those "developer"

What is wrong with you people, it's a simple count puzzle. Last part is kinda hard, but I did it on the fifth try.

This :) On the first try, I didn't get that I had to keep holding down the mouse button, so I failed. On the second try, I didn't get that I had to match the lighthouse keeper's speed and duration. On the third and fourth try, I made some errors in matching the keeper's signals, but on the fifth try, I got it.

There's other parts in the game that I find far less fitting for a point & click adventure game, but the lighthouse puzzle for me fits in a wide range of similar puzzles that were actually not that uncommon in the old-school classics nor in the modern day tributes, to be honest. While mildly challenging, there's nothing there to "fix", IMHO.

Yeah, no, 50 tries in and I can't get through stage 4. I can't even tell if there's only two different signals (short and long) or three, I don't think I've sucessfuly scored a single long signal out of god knows how many tries, and on top of that sometimes the sequence just breaks without the character saying "curses". This is pretty ridiculous.

there's more than one puzzle in this that's dependent upon the timing quirks of an obsolete game engine? dammit. I was really enjoying the story but the damn gilman hotel bit is making my brain scream, and now I'm reading about this and the fountain and the escape "puzzle."

Honestly I also had issues with this part, failed just one time during the first sequences, but then I got to the final one and men, I had to tried it for at least 20 times. I don´t know why it was happening, but my dude was like "damn it I did it wrong" after the first click all the time, I was doing it short, long... nothing was working. Then it did and I don´t think I did anything different.

But yeah, sadly anyone having issues with the flashlight is gonna dread the escape puzzle, I was enjoying the gamebut this part is really testing my patience with the title. And it also makes me super cautious about getting the second game, this time around I will take more into account the bad reviews.

Maybe i am lucky but for me was second try, i did what lighthouse guy do and it just work, but i understand no everyone like this type of puzzle. It's really fun game, for me one of the best it's type.
