Cannot save the game

This is a pretty simple bug(?) report that I don't see anyone else having from what I can tell from the first few pages. Essentially, the game will not save whatsoever. Just downloaded today with the steam 18+ patch, and I get a notif in japanese (despite having all language set to english) that I don't know and it refuses to let me save my progress. I'd really rather not have to replay the game every single time I load it up, and the notif doesn't appear a second time if I continue the game and try to save again (it doesn't save).

Not sure if I can solve this problem, but can you take a screenshot of that message? I might be able to figure out what it says, at least.

So I just loaded up the game again after quitting and for some reason now it works. I still have no idea what caused the problem before or what the message in japanese said, but hey if it's working it's working.
