[FIXED!] Need help with R+18 patch...

Hi! So I bought the R+18 patch from https://denpasoft.com/shop/nekopara-vol-2-18-patch/ and extracted it into the Steam folder for Nekopara Vol 2, ran the patch file to get the adult sig, and then ran the game as per description and still have the censored version. I don't have an option to set H-animation to work in rhw Effects&Sound either http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=898119310 - I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong O.o

Hmm. Do you have a file named "adultsonly.xp3" in the same folder as the rest of the game files? The program scans for .xp3 files at startup time. If that particular file is present, it overrides the censored content. At least, that's my understanding of how it works. Removing the file of the same name from the full (non-Steam) version makes it look like the Steam version, so I'm sure the Steam version works the same.

Then again, I haven't used the official patch, so maybe it does something different.

Guys I got it to work! I messaged Denpasoft and they gave me the solution.

Opt out of the Steam Beta Client mode and it should show up! In steam, go to Steam -> Settings -> and in Account where it says Beta Participation, click Change and opt out.

Once you're done playing, you can revert back to the Beta if you wish :)

Oh, I forgot about that kind of thing. It's tightly controlled, so the adult content doesn't get exposed in places that don't allow it, like in screenshots in the Steam Community (they get censored), in live streams (deactivates it), and such. Not sure how beta mode relates to that, but I guess there could be problems there as well.

Yeah i'm not sure either, but hey it worked! Maybe its got something to do with the scripting of beta? I have no idea :D but for anyone with the H-animation not showing up in menu and having the patch, this is the solution :D

No. That's required for anything published in Japan. There is no fully uncensored version.
