purchased 18+ patch from denpasoft, not working [partially? SOLVED]

so i bought the $10 patch on denpasoft for the steam verison of the game (which i purchased ages ago). downloaded the patch from the link that was in my purchase confirmation email, put the patch exe in the folder, ran the patch (in admin mode), extracted/installed the two files (xp3 and sig file), no errors occurred during the installation, started the game (in admin mode as well), and i don't have any of the H scenes. fresh saves too completely new game. also no H scene animation options in the settings menu... anyone else have this issue?

anyone else having this issue try what Дарки says below. it worked for me. i put partially solved in the title because i shouldn't have to change any launch options in the first place. it should just work after installation lol. anyway, at least i can access all the content i paid for now. hope this helps anyone having the issue

I'm having the same issue. The newest steam build, dated April 20th seems to have broken the 18+ content. This same issue happened earlier this month with the beta version of steam and reverting back to the non-beta version fixed it. That isn't the case anymore and it seems it's broken again.

yeah i think the measures put in place to stop people from using a non-paid patch is affecting the paying users. which sucks. a lot lol.

also i'm sorry yours is not working but at the same time glad i am not alone here.

Ah yes, when drm measures affects only the paying user and leaves the pirates to sail free.

R18 is working
You need right click on the game in library and open Properties --> General --> Set launch options and write -steam=no
But you will not get achievements
If you need achievements you need write in Set launch options -steam=yes

this fixed it for me. H scenes are working now.

guess that answers your question spoiledbun. you can buy the patch then set those launch options and still get the H scenes. if you want cheevs just playthrough the censored game once.

well the game is $20 on denpasoft and it's only $10 on here and $10 for the patch. so if you buy it all legit you are paying the actual full price of the game.

I've always preferred the full version that doesn't depend on Steam. I never even thought about something like this happening, but I'd say it's another reason to just use the full version, as it would never suffer such a problem. Discounts are nice, though, so it's a shame in that respect.

Sorry? I don't understand what you're trying to say here.

I'm just saying, companies keep trying to find ways to stop pirates and that usually only backfires on the paying customer.

Unless you're the developer responsible for this specific drm, then I don't know why you got so offended.

the solution somewhat restored the patch but it failed to read my progress. so it's like i have 2 versions with different progress
funny though since this method is ok for vol 1.

The last patch (26.04.2017) fixes the bug, now the hentai patch works fine
