Touch to start?

Hi,
The moment I am starting the game I see a blue orb floating over a book with "touch to start" written above. What am I supposed to do? I tried touching the orb but it is too far back and I can not reach it with my touch controller. I tried resetting the view but I still can not reach it. What am I missing?
