I separated both, and set them aside. there was no way to delete them.
3 main things; make sure you know you align all walls on the levels you intend them to, like first floor walls, then 2nd floor walls should be on 2nd level, 3rd wall, on 3rd level.
Another issue could be wall textures, if youre doing the first floor, make sure you are on first floor. The same thing for items
if all things fail, try to separate these walls and set them aside at the very edge of the map. i already had 2 glitched walls and floors. I ended up separating them.
I couldn't find the solution, since this wasn't happening before the latest patch. When you mentioned that it could be latched itself to another object, I checked the objects around the shelves. That was the stupid (new) table lamp underneath the shelves! Eventhough the lamp is far away (height-wise) from the shelves, it somehow was interacting them. I removed the lamp and problem solved.
Thank you very much for the tip.
something is overlapping, maybe you have 2 walls attached to one wall, or try deleting the cupboard or any other thats on your wall.
The other issue, is I have also noticed that closing in a wall, it becomes a problem. That is a problem I am aware of. Its gotten to the point that I have to leave a small centimeter of open space so it doesnt freeze on me. I never connect a wall to close up anymore on any inner rooms, but outer rooms (like the whole house) is okay.
