Cannot place lighting materials on the ceilings

Hi! I am quite new to Home Design 3D, I've noticed that I cannot put ceiling lights in certain rooms, I am lost on why it's happening. Also, how can I reverse some items that come downloaded upside down? Thank you in advance.

The ceiling light thing has to do with whether or not the ceiling visibility is enabled. It should be highlighted in blue to be enabled. That should allow you to place ceiling lights. As for reversing items that are upside down, I have no idea.
