Help on Floor Textures and Internal Doors
Hi,

I'm starting with the software and after a while I ran into a couple of problems and can't seem t find any support on them.

1) I've imported a blueprint ans started adding walls to create my rooms (didn't need to use draw rooms). Adding textures to objects or walls work well, but I can't add textures to any floors whatsoever as if floors don't even exist! Does anyone know why this happens?
2) I have internal walls of 12 cm, which sometimes accept adding internal doors and sometimes don't. Even when they do they force the location at end of the room and not the other. Decreasing door thickness and disabling snap didn't help.

Hello! If you don't see floors it means that the room isn't recognized as a room. Sometimes you need to redraw some walls to force the app to recognize each room. As long as a room isn't a real room, you will not be able to apply any floor texture. Regarding your doors problem, the thickness of the wall should not be the reason. Sometimes walls are splitted in multiple short walls next to each other, which does not allow to place any door. If it is your case, you can delete sections of the wall and extend the remaining part of the wall to close the room and become one unique wall.

I just realized that you have to remove the blueprint or push it aside and then you can texture the floors. Hope this helps you.

hello, i am posting here as it seems to be the same problem. I have created my house, it is OK but here is the problem : some rooms are ok, but i have 3 rooms that are recognized together, and as the land (the land around the house is selected together with the rooms). I have checked the walls, the are well joigned. It seems that the problem appears when 2 walls with different thickness are joigned at a point ?? I have not found any solution at the moment, if someone can help :-)
