1. Once you've finished designing your house, create a room on a new level/floor
2. Hide its walls
3. Place a geometry on this room, and adjust it to your house's size
4. Apply a texture on it
And it's done! :)
First, there is no A shaped object there. I used two mirrored /|\ shaped objects. And it looked awful. Before roof system completed, you can add A shaped object too.
Second, when i textured it, texture didn't just looped the object, instead texture stretched and looked awful. Tiles should be looped on objects, not just stretch.
I think you can easily integrate roof system into game.
We're waiting =)
Great app,
Thanks.
@wmwmwm Yes, there is no A shaped geometry yet, we might add it in the future. We will explain that you can use the "downward plane" or pyramids to make roofs, so to avoid confusion :)
We know that textures look awful on highly stretched geometries, it is due to an UV problem which is currently being fixed by our development team.
As for the roof feature, we are experiencing some difficulties to integrate it as we use a custom engine, not Unreal/Unity, so it will take time before we manage to add this feature without causing other stability issues :/
@bairengui We do not have a precise date to communicate, but we know this would take at least months for this feature to be integrated. We will add awning attics in our suggestion list ;)
Thank you for your patience and feedback, we really appreciate it!
