not working...?

[Titanfall™ - Xbox 360 Game]

im trying to launch half-life 2: episode 2, but when i launch the game, it shows the valve sequence (the valve guy and music queue) and it turns black and says "HL2.exe is not responding. i already backed up files, redownloaded, and verified integrity of game files. i am in windows 10 and i didnt mod anything or consolde cheats. help pls!
