2026 release?

My guess is '27. They will probably drop the Nagash DLC to sort of wrap up TWWH first before moving on to 40k.

that dlc is summer 26 i think. so maybe december 26 for this.. and then medieval 3 in end 2027 alongside all different dlc for this

Med3 is in early pre-production. 0% chance coming out in 2 years from now.

All the games that are coming in 2026 seem to say Release: 2026. Other games say To Be Announced. Could be a 2027, sadly.

I don't think there is much chance of it releasing in 2026. I would bet 2027. Could be wrong, i am not an insider or anything. But 2026, even December 2026, is extremely optimistic for a pre-alpha game today. They are going to spend next year releasing DLCs for Warhammer 3 . They still have 1-2 years left to add stuff. I think 2027 is a safe bet, especially around the yearly Skulls event in the summer.

Alternatively, the footage is pre-alpha but the game itself isn't pre-alpha anymore.
But then I think it's weird not to show a more fleshed out view.

We only have a reveal trailer with no release date. I think 26 is too soon. Maybe 27 or even 28.

It is not impossible but keep in mind Warhammer 3 was basically already made. Yeah i know it will seem troll-ish for me to say it, and just FYI i own all 3 Warhammers and all the DLCs, but Warhammer 3 was not really a new game, it was an update on Warhammer 2 which was an update on Warhammer 1. It wasn't built from scratch, and honestly, could have been an expansion instead of a new game.

40K on the other hand, is brand new. Yeah it still uses the same engine but the world map is different, combat is different, and unit design is much different since it is going to have a lot of vehicles this time. Also it will be ported to consoles too. And i am wondering if they are going to include Titans in it.... Or at least other big, large units.

In any case, 40K is going to need a lot more work than Warhammer 3 did.
