Reservoir Dogs

Reservoir Dogs

Metacritic review score is wrong.
Somebody needs to pull the Metacritic rating off of this product page. The score is pulling from the (bizarre) Reservoir Dogs game that came out 12 years after the movie was released, and it was pretty much a total flop and forgotten.

The movie is getting a 78/100 on Metacritic. Even then, in my opinion, this movie should be higher rated than that. This is the film that established Quentin Tarantino as a very talented indie movie director. Because of the success of Reservoir Dogs, he was able to make his next movie: Pulp Fiction.

The metacritic on the Steam Store page is for the actual video game of the movie, which did absolutely terrible.

Maybe they'll fix that

I totally forgot that I even wrote this post last year. Even more funny is that the Metacritic score is still not fixed after all this time, and it's still referencing the video game spinoff and not the original movie.

But perhaps the best part of this whole story is that Reservoir Dogs is getting a new video game this year called Reservoir Dogs: Bloody Days. The new game only uses the film title and character names ("Mr. Pink", "Mr. Orange", etc.) and there's nothing else in the game that resembles the movie.
