How to get the chicken achievement?

As the title says.
I just killed 30 chickens in Houton and the big chicken boss spawned. I killed the big one and thought I will get the "Hunt 1 chicken" achievement but I didn't. So I doubt its a bug, so I guess I have to do something diffrent for this achievement.
Anyone can help here?

There's a "Chicken Slayer" achievement for killing 30 chickens (I was able to get it). The super chicken appears after 25. Are you sure you killed 30? From how my own available achievements look, I think the "Hunt 1..." achievement applies to Grouses, but not chickens.

Yes, I killed 30 I have this achievement ;)
Alright, maybe it was a wrong achievement discribtion then. I will try with the grouses then. Thank you :D

For me the giant chicken and the achievement appeared at the same time and killing the giant chicken got me nothing except perhaps some xp. Same for the cow tipping, the achievement and the fighting cow (or is it bull) appeared after tipping the 30th cow but again nothing for killing the aggressive cow/bull except maybe xp. I did them both in the first village (Houton I think it's called).

Hi, just in case you or anyone else is still wondering:
You can get the achievement in the fairy forest by the first town, if you have a dog along. The achievement isn't translated acuratly into german for german/austrian/swiss users. you are not hunting a chicken but a grouse (ein moorhuhn). The dook will ocasionally bark and by shooting at the place hes barking at und beeing patient the damn thing will come out eventually. in that case you need to be quik and shoot it, if you hit your dog will get you its remains like the good boy he is.

I am german so it took me some time to figure that one out as well :)
