I still confused about her purpose
On the surface it seems like the Three Sisters sealed away some sort of evil Serpent being and Ms. Siska has been trying to bring people to the town in an attempt to get one of them to break the Serpent free.
However, the Serpent fight is labeled as the Keeper of the Dark, and she seems to be warning you about what you're doing, while neither Siska nor the Three Sisters seemed to be particularly mad at you in the ending in the original.
Also, if Siska was against the Sisters, why would the Lady in Red allow Siska to sit in her room and mess around with her mirror?
At one point, when it showed Siska messing with the mirror, it looked like Sewurupa appeared behind her. When you defeat the Serpent being, you see a huge procession of spirits, each dressed like Sewurupa and with one of his faces, and you eventually approach what looks to be him. Then, he gets Siska's head, then Linda's. Then Linda splits into two people. Linda, and what looks to be Siska dressed in a Sewurupa-like outfit?
Is it Sewurupa? What does that mean? He never seemed important in the original game. Is Siska part of the Order of Black Silk? What would that mean?
I'm interested because I feel like the important answers might actually be there this time, but I have no idea what they are at the moment.
