In one of the comments (by one PsychoJosh), Matt McMuscles (the game's writer and guy who dealt with publishers and stuff) mentioned that Nicalis refuses to do anything about it - doesn't even answer to their emails.
So yeah, just your average case of publisher being a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Although it's Nicalis, so i dunno what ya were expecting.
Its obvious the moment Nicalis touched 90s Arcade Racer he ran off and used all the money to make this game instead.
Money that Nicalis probably took for themselves.
release date 2040?
Word's spreading about Nicalis, I'm pretty sure no indie dev will want to partner with them anymore, eventually, stuff like this will stop happening.
Pelikan is not at fault here at all.
Also, 90's Super GP had a demo at some expo a while ago, apparently its absolute garbage, and not even a racing game anymore. Supposedly your rank is based off of points you get in the 'race' by drifting. Also the AI is worthless too according to the source I got.
I'll try find the video that details all of this information a bit better, because I doubt I made this easy to digest.
