Cant save game

Says fail to save game each and every time, i have no idea on what to do to fix this

I've found dir with saves: ..\Steam\userdata\47763786\418370\remote\win64_save
There I have files data000.bin, data00-1.bin, data001Slot.bin, data002Slot.bin. When I start playing, it's says that I don't have any saves and game starts from begining. After quit in main menu and load the game I have one slot with my old save, but autosaves doesn't work there. Somebody knows how to fix this?

I think I found the solution, but unfortunately all savefiles will be deleted. Old savefiles with autosaves are broken, my data000.bin file (it's autosave) must weight >5mb instead of 80kb. I've just deleted all saves in steamcloud and directory. After this I start game again and it saves properly. Try this.

Well, since I can't access my saves, it doesn't much matter if they're deleted, does it? :v

Normally:
1. Disable cloudsave for RE7 (rightclick on RE7 > Properties > Cloudsave > Deactivate)
2. Delete savegames: data000.bin, data00-1.bin, data001Slot.bin, data002Slot.bin, ...
All data[number]Slot.bin files are the manually saved files
data000.bin is autosave
data00-1.bin is the settings, ... file
It can help if you just delete the data[number]Slot.bin files and/or data000.bin, but it don't have to. In the worst case you have to delete all savegames :/.
The only problem is, you have to play the game from the beginning, and probably set up all your settings again.
If this does not work, i don't know sorry.

I have the exact same problem. I have got a long way into the game, around 11 hours and now will have to start again if i can be bothered. July 2023. Have they still not fixed this issue. I have tried the solution above, but can't find the data000.bin etc files. When i go into properties there isn't a Cloudsave tab, can't see how to deactivate. I'm probably missing something.

I'm facing the same issue. I play the game through the cloud, so I don't have my own save file on my computer. I don't want to start from the beginning every time I play, as I occasionally log in to the game. I can continue from where I left off in other games, but in this particular game, I can't.
