Game doesn't support simultaneous mouse, keyboard and gamepad control input

The game currently only supports either input from just a gamepad or input from just the keyboard & mouse. When you use one or the other the other method of input is disabled completely.

While this is fine in most use cases this effectively renders Steam's Controller Configurator's advanced functionality useless, and it also makes playing this game close to impossible with a Steam Controller.

I personally use a Dualshock 4 in combination with the Steam Controller Configurator, and mapping keyboard controls to it works perfectly fine but it won't accept any mouse input. I think it's due to the issue described above: I suppose the game still notices that it's receiving input from a controller somehow.

It'd be great if this limitation was lifted.

Having any sort of input device beyond mouse/keyboard connected to your system will completely nullify mouse input, and quite possibly keyboard input as well.

I have absolutely no idea why Capcom thinks playing this game with a flightstick is a good idea, yet here I am unable to use my mouse/keyboard because I don't want to unplug my flightstick for a single game.

It seems that this bug manifests itself in a variety of different ways. For me the bug doesn't quite work like it does for you. When I start using my gamepad the keyboard and mouse stop working until I stop using the gamepad. Then the keyboard and mouse work again and my gamepad will stop working. It's really weird.

This isn't the first game to do this but it's not a good practice, especially when Steam allows you to customize your control scheme combining both gamepad, keyboard and mouse controls.
