Has anyone tried? (Eveline Spoilers)
So as we know now Eveline was the old lady. When I played through the game every time I saw her I just ignored her as I figured she couldn't be killed similar to the other Bakers and I didn't want to waste ammo on her since she would always dissapear anyways.

My question is did anyone trying shooting her or damaging her? Does anything special happen?

game doesn't let you shoot at her and even if you do a quick turn while swinging knife, does nothing

I didn't try to shoot her due even though the character is clearly fictional, I had no justification for it. Plus I thought she was a red herring, an actual old woman who for whatever reason was spared from mold and has no clue what's going on. She didn't indicate in anyway of being dangerous.

well her teleporting around the place and just staring at you gives an indication of "there's something going on with that old lady and i feel very suspicous that she's very not normal" before you read the files in the salt mine cause

A: how does she go upstairs to the 2nd floor and downstairs into the basement with no disability access of any kind.

B: how did she get into the master bedroom before us, it is a snake key door and in the world of resident evil, the standard logic is when you have multiple doors fitted with the exact same lock, you only make 1 key and no spares.

When NPC somehow get ahead of you in seconds even though they were over hundred meters behind moments ago, I attribute it as "it's just a video game." Good example is when event triggers and there was no way past you unless they go through walls or something.

Other thing is, I didn't at that point know that character known as Eveline is even in the game. I pretty much ignored all the trailers and stuff before the game came out. However I knew from the demo and watching Youtubers playing it that there is some kind of "ghost girl" during the video tape.

After I got that ship part or something, I was curious who that old lady was supposed to be in the Bakers family, found out that she was Eveline before the game would have finally told so.

Oh yes, and considering there is that crazy Jicksaw wannabee son, I just guessed that he is probably pushing the old lady around in wheelchair to mess with you.
Guys, could you tell me, what that grandma can say after the dinner(the scene after Ethan kills Mia)? Does she say anything at all?

I tried shooting her, I assumed she was going to be the big bad because of the huge spoiler the game gives you in the guest house.

1. You find the photograph of Evelyn that says "E0001" every RE game always has you picking up photos of stufff that is marked is some umbrella code speak.
2. When you couldn't target her, means plot point and making her immune is the lazy programmers way of not have to write a scenario where she attacks you, "spoiling" the big twist.
3. Its resident evil, its not exactly known for its deep interwoven plots. They basically borrowered the plot from 3 or 4 different moves.
