The reflections look fine elsewhere.
Yeah I'm in the old house and haven't seen anything that bad since. However still not a fan of the water reflections that only show the tree stalks. They look way too bright as a result.
Though to be fair, even with the full path tracing mod someone did, those outdoor scenes during the day still look godawful.
Indoor and any dark scenes look amazing other than needing ray reconstruction or similar tech though.
Couldn't agree more. In the main house's living room, the difference between RT on and off is huge. Lights and shadow are so much more accurate with Ray Tracing. I can't understand people booing RT in RE7, they either probably do not own a great HDR capable OLED panel, or inappropriately calibrated it, but in the end RT in RE7 is a game changer, for lights, shadows and reflections, it adds a big layer of technical complexity and of depth to the game. I really love it.
