Btw, I don't think aiming controls in RE7 will be affected in any way since shooting in first person view or shooting in OTS view is virtually the same. Moving controls will be likely downgraded and probably a bit clunky if not handled properly.
Starting? They've been using 3rd person for 20 years already. And 11 of those years are plagued by Over the Shoulder perspective which is pathetically overused in this franchise already.
The change was bound to happen sooner or later, fans liking it or not. I welcome it with my arms wide open. Enough of RE4 clones for me. I probably wouldn't even buy RE7 if it was announced in over the shoulder angle again.
I hope not. The future will always be in a variety of gameplay mechanics that suit the narrative of the game. Not sticking soley to 3rd person open enviornment.
If that's true, then the future of gaming is going to be incredibly boring.
and to the warframe ♥♥♥♥♥♥, that's just one of the genres available. i'm really glad not everything is 3rd person.
I agree with this. I've never really understood why people have so many problems with tank controls.
psh.
