Everywhere I looked it said that the card should be capable of it with a driver update, but from what I can see, I have the latest updates to enable it. I don't see any additional available.
Dang. Guess I'm not just going crazy and this game isn't one of em. Honestly, the game looks amazing regardless still, so I'm not too hurt over it.
you need a card with actual rt support, like the geforce 20xx or 30xx series
there isn't much difference between rt on and rt off, you're not missing out on much and it's mostly marketing hype that people buy into
That's fair. I mean, I beat the first L4D game at 3-5fps over the coarse of several hours because I was determined to "PC game", even on a toaster. Not sure much could get worse than that, but I am too spoiled now to tolerate a bad framerate. I'll definitely need to look into upgrading what I have running.
Sometimes there is comfort in the truth. Thanks for your honesty. As I said, this game still looks amazing regardless. The game even look fantastic on Stadia.

All the Best, Sergio!
Not sure if I'd "quit" on RE7, but those screenshots definitely look fantastic.
thanks bro it looks like that and for my surprise awesome!
There could be some confusion because some games implement software-based RT (which is nowhere near the quality) that will work on anything, but then the work has to be done by your CPU. Which basically doesn't work.
