Audio Issues After Update
After the latest update for Resident Evil 7 (June 13), my game audio is suddenly lacking any bass. Also, it seems like the 3D audio is always on and it sounds terrible compared to how it was originally (which I thought was done quite well). Turning the 3D audio setting on and off or even restarting the game multiple times did not solve this problem. I also messed around with the in-game sound device profiles and the dynamic range and it did nothing. Updating drivers or verifying the integrity of the game files did not solve it either.

Capcom, please fix this update or allow us to revert back to the previous version!

Yes, please just add the older version as a beta like Rise of the tomb raider did

Honestly same, I've been having audio issues too. Can't hear Ethan's voice acting and all of the game's audio sounds super quiet.

So I'm not the only one with audio issues.

A separate application. An optional DLC. An alternative selectable beta branch. Why, Capcom? Why did you have to go and break the base game(s) - 2 and 3 having their own issues - when there were at least three other alternatives to applying this "upgrade" which could have also left the original stuff in-tact? Why?

Same. They should make sure everything works well before forcing glitchy patches. The game was working much better before the patch. Terrible.

Just tested the RE7 demo to make sure I wasn't going crazy after that update. They completely botched the audio.

Another steam user claims going to the games folder and deleting the following file: "MSSpatial.dll" fixed it.

Can anyone confirm? I've already uninstalled and can't be bothered to download all 60gb again.
